Available in a variety of thicknesses from 1/4” to 1” with a standard sheet size of 48” x 96” but can be custom made to the size required.
With a high thermal resistance and sound absorption it serves perfect for HVAC air duct or insulation panels from mass transportation, aerospace, marine or construction.
Perfect substitute to plywood core sandwich panels when weight is an issue. Aertis-Core is five time lighter per cubic foot then water but maintains an above average tensile strength.
Aertis-Core has low flammability as well as low smoke and toxic gas emissions. It meets all North American FST standards set forth for mass transportation and building industry, such as 49 CFR 238.103, NFPA 130, BSS 7239, SMP 800, and UL E84.
Aertis-Core does not decay or deteriorate from bacterial or fungal growth so performance is not affected at all by humidity and environments.
Aertis-Core is reasonably priced to be highly cost effective for the semi-structural panels requiring light weight, thermal/acoustic insulation, FST performance and long time durability.
